In addition to writing and distributing Rock Climbs of Acadia, I work full time as a climbing guide. For most of the year, I work with Cathedral Mountain Guides, and base myself out of the wonderful New England climbing town of North Conway, New Hampshire. In the warmer months, North Conway offers fabulous granite rock climbing, much of which is only minutes away from downtown. As the temperature drops and the mountains get coated with snow and ice, climbers trade rock shoes for crampons and chalk bags for ice tools as they set out to explore the incredible, varied terrain that is New Hampshire in the winter.

In the spring and fall, I often travel to Nevada and California. These destinations provide diverse rock types and, often, longer objectives and bigger adventures for myself and my clients.
